I feel like this is at least partially my fault. I believe this is what I was told when I looked into reservations previously. I don't know, maybe they change their policy for certain kinds of shows.
One possibility is to show up early, go in for an early dinner and stay for the show. That's what I did last time.
Ok, I just called them. I spoke to someone who answered the phones who sounded like she didn't understand what I was asking about, and then to Nick, who has been there a longer time.
According to him, you can make reservations for groups of any size "as soon as the concert is confirmed." There is no set date, so people can be told anything from, "We can't make reservations for that yet," to, "Sure, party of what size?" to, "Sorry, we're sold out." Supposedly, they also sell out pretty fast.
According to Nick, the concert is usually not confirmed much further out than two months, so that's a relatively safe bet. If it's not available yet, they suggested calling every day until it is. (Yes, I'm not kidding.)
They also leave roughly two tables for walk-ins, but can't guarantee those seats. They claimed people should show up around 7:00pm for dinner and stay for the show, but I'm certain I came earlier than that. They did point out that the previous concert was also earlier, so perhaps showing up as late as 7 will be fine

Well, who's up for an early dinner that night? I know I am.
