Saving the world, even though the world is pain: PRICLESS!
Yes, I actually pulled it off. Inspired by the webcomic "Real Life," I give you what has become known as "GOTHTIMUS PRIME!"
I wasn't sure I'd be able to pull it off as I found the Goth robe I initially planned to use was way out of my price range. Ironically, if you add up the above totals though, it adds up to a bit more than the price of the robe. I justify this in two ways:
1) I was able to buy all that a bit at a time, and not one large sum right away.
2) I can still use all this stuff! With the robe, I probably would have worn the costume a couple times and then it would have ended up in my closet, probably never to be seen again, wheras I can totaly use all the above for all kinds of crazy things.
More pic showing more details of the costume:
I love this armband. I wear it when not wearing the rest of the gear.
JC found this one for me, and it is way too much fun.
Goth bling
Sadly, months ago, the chain on my Trigun Cross broke, so I can no longer wear it as a neackleace.
However, through the magic of safety pins, its legacy lives on. (I may even leave it there.)
It's supposed to say "GC-01" in reference to the Japanese TF's numbering system ("Goth Cybertron 01"). Not sure it came out legiable, but it looks cool.
"I really should have approvals over these things."
Strike a pose.
That's all the pics I have so far, but I'll probably where the get up a couple more times before retiring it. Any requests, let me know.
