Today is Thursday, and I am basically done with week two: Tower Week here at the U.S. Army Airborne School. This week was, for the most part, easy. I am disheartened...I just discovered that my suspicions were true: One Man Army has officially broken up...I don't know why or anything...but I am sad. The underground punk world has lost an excellent band by my standards...

At least I have their albums and their awesome live DVD...I really hoped to see these guys again live sometime though.

Well I have successfully made it through the first week of training for Airborne School. It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be, but it certaintly wasn't the easiest thing I've ever done. So...I guess I was wrong about not being able to get on the net while I'm down here at Ft. Benning. I managed to find the library where internet access is free and stuff. Well this is it for a while for me. I have just finished packing up all of my equipment for Airborne school, and I have to get up at 5:00 this morning to get ready to go to the Buffalo airport. I should be at Fort Benning, GA around 1-1:30, depending on traffic from the airport in Columbus to the base. I'm excited but nervous at the same time. ( Read more... )
