our water is fixed

we have no running water, a pipe broke in the basement of the building. it is supposed to be fixed today but who knows. that's why i like apartment life. if a pipe broke when i lived with the folks, we'd be without water for a week. now i make a phonecall and a guy that smells like booze is here in a few minutes.

mastodon rocked my stuff last night. the best part was getting in for free! josh and i went to aris' to get tickets, it was about 7:30 when we got there and the show started at 6:00. the guy said the venue already picked the tickets up. dammit we were pissed, that meant we were going to have to pay $17.00 instead of the $14.00 price. we got to ( Read more... )

u.s. 131 has a 70 car pile-up huh? i love it when we have blizzards. all the plows dedicate every bit of action and salt to the freeways and downtown becomes a clot of cars trickling through intersections of lights both green and red. the blizzard is supposed to last until 10:00 tonight they say. i hope it goes longer, i like seeing the city ( Read more... )
