Ginny strolled down the street in Diagon Alley on her way to the book store after her visit to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. She had come by today in order to take her brothers to lunch and pick their brains for tips and tricks for pranking, hopefully without them knowing what was up. She still wasn't sure if she was successful or not ( ... )

Nate saw the entire event happen before his eyes in slow motion but he just wasn't fast enough to catch the younger redhead. He jumped up to help but before he knew it all of her things had been picked up.

"Are you okay?" he asked, leaning down in hopes of at least helping her back up. If he hadn't been so wrapped up in his own thoughts then maybe he could have been a true gentleman to her. But, of course, he just a few steps behind.

Ginny blushed harder as the guy on the bench stooped down to try and help her, only a few seconds late as she had just gotten the last item in her bag. "Yeah..." She trailed off as she noticed how close to her he was. She blinked, cleared her through and forced herself to continue.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Just a bit scrapped up but thing a quick spell can't fix." She tried to push herself up but her leg got caught under her due to how close to her body her bag was. She ended up wobbling stupidly for a second before falling back down on her arse.

She felt herself blush even harder as a curse burst from her mouth in frustration. What was with her today? She was not normally so clumsy. On top of it she was sure she now looked like a giant walking, talking tomato.

"Merlin!" Nate moved faster this time and put his hand on the girl's back. He did his best to steady her. There was no telling which way she'd fall next but this time Nate was going to be ready.

Though, he couldn't help but smile. Who ever this girl was, she was just as adorable as she was clumsy.

"Let me help you," he said, offering his other arm to her.

Ginny whistled softly. "That's quite the responsibility." She said as she went back to browsing the shelves of books, inching her way slowly towards the end of the row.

Ginny was actually very impressed. She knew Painswick took in injured animals for the Care of Magical Creatures majors to help take care of but she had yet to meet anyone who was a Care of Magical Creatures major. She felt her curiosity starting to get the better of her as she asked, "What kind of creatures have you taken care of?"

"Thestrals are most common but every once in a while we'll get a unicorn or a hippogryff," he answered. This was Nate's speciality. He finally began to feel more comfortable and confident.

"Only seniors are allowed to work with dragons. And, honestly, I'm counting the days until I can."

Ginny smiled but didn't take her eyes from the books. "You sound like my brother Charlie. He's obsessed with dragons. Which is good considering her works with them in Romania."

She grabbed and book and flipped through it for a second before replacing it on the shelf.

"That sounds brilliant," he said, trying to imagine himself doing to same. It seemed like the exciting life a boy from suburbia would dream about.

Ginny nodded. "Charlie sure loves it. He also goes on and on about it until you tell him to shut it. I mean sometimes talking about something that's not dragons is a good thing. Plus we've all heard his stories a million and a half times."

She picked up anther book and flipped through it.

"I bet his stories are fascinating!" Nate sighed, wondering what type of adventures he found himself on. He felt a pang of jealousy. Ginny obviously didn't appreciate the stories the way he would.
