personally i think the foo fighters are good.. but there rescent album isn't very fooish.. i think QOTSA has influenced ghrol (spelling?) alittle too much

I do agree that the new album is darker, and the new video for "Low" is disturbing, but hey, they're a thriving band, so they'll change. I personally liked their TCATS stage. In terms of Nate, I think his finest moment was in "Aurora." QOTSA is the shite.... Josh Homme wooo!

I don't know if I'd say darker. But definately more... thoughtful. Moody and heavier than usual. Though I definately wouldn't say that it's due to any influence from the Queens of the Stone Age.

As far as Nate, I really love the bass work in Stacked Actors.
