All these protesting Mexicans should be picked up and given the proper fines or jail for truancy and disturbing the peace.

What is it that people don't under stand about the word "Illegal" in Illegal Immagrant? Or am I the stupid one?

I was just about to post that I was proud of students for actually CARING about something to protest it!

Illegal immigration is a huge issue for our government. They've purposely 'legalized' illegal immigration by letting things slide and allowing them to work (yes they do allow it). They let the problem continue and now they're trying to make them villians. They need to draw a real line between legal and illegal but they need to do it humanely.

These kids are protesting something they have no clue about. They just want a reason to ditch school.

I agree the government of the past has done little to nothing to block illegal immagration, but the Gov of now is changing. Whats more humane then saying 'You've broken a law, you can stay in jail or go back home and go through the proper channels to be a legal citizen."?

unsure. but i am curious to see what the republicans (aka people making money off their labor) will actually DO to back up what they normally SAY.

And I can remember being upset about prop 187 (which actually ended up killing hundreds of people trying to cross) in high school. Probably, most are uninformed. but good for them for taking a stand.

I think the Repubs. are getting a little tired of the illegal population boom.

If they are trying to cross illegally why should it matter if they die? If I'm breaking a law and end up dying people will say I got what was coming to me.

sounds like enough to me. The question is, is that 66k we let in or 66k that were able to meet the requirements for citizenship?
