1.I have no idea. Rafael Nadal won it recently of course, but I can't think of a single male 20th century Spanish tennis player. =(

1: I agree with Jules - I don't think there has been a Spanish Men's Singles winner in the 20th Century. Nadal has won it twice I think but both in the 2000's making it 21st Century.

I had to check Wikipedia and discovered that there was precisely one Spanish Wimbledon Men's Singles champion in the 20th Century.
However he only won it once, it was before I was born and I have never heard of him! =)
