Or, knowing that was the case, would Abney Park members in fact say, "Last night I slept with crowgrl13?

(Which brings up all sorts of questions, like is this just a big ploy to have tons of little AP simulacra all over the place, collecting information on behalf of the band, and then at some point when a signal goes out across the aether waves, all of the plushies come to life and TAKE OVER THE WORLD???!!!??? Probably not, but it's fun to think about!)

Are you perhaps implying that the Furby was just phase one in Abney Parks plan to take over the world? Or maybe they're just subverting that plan, in the true style of piracy.

Oh no... I'm totally sitting here plotting how to make these now. Robert's hair is going to give me trouble, though... nothing in the fabric/yarn/ribbon world is that pokey. :)

I like this idea. It will also make me not hate the way that fun-fur usually works up if I know I'm going to abuse it after I'm done crocheting. :)

Almost makes me want to sew real plushies, I was working on a Voltaire Bear, but this would be an exciting new challenge! ;)

No. "Working on" meaning I have the bear, your average, basic bear, and a top hat... and a plan for a vest and shirt, but nothing finished yet. I was trying to have it for him for dragon*con, but that's not going to happen that fast. :(

AGH! These are ludicrously cute!

Okay, everyone's gotten to me. I've got two weeks coming up between semesters. I'm going to have to give a shot at making these things. I'll start with the Nathianial so that (if it doesn't suck) I can finish before classes start up and send it off. It'll be an early Yule prezzie. ;-p
