I think you're being a little unfair on Obama. His campaign was no more expensive than McCains and traditionally the Republican's have always been the bigger spenders so it wouldn't surprise me at all to find that the McCain campaign were to also go that way. Also to compare Obama to Blair is a little unfair as if you had watched the televised debates (More 4, so you may not have seen them) you would see that much of McCains policies defied logic and common sense and Obama did not exclude possibly raising taxes an election losing statement (in the US even more so than here
( ... )
It's an interesting thing, certainly. Obama didn't have the black vote in any major poll until at least February; his big win in Iowa pulled many over to him but it was really quite a slow shift of opinion in the black community.
Besides that, traditionally black voters overwhelmingly support Democratic candidates anyway. Saying that they voted for Obama because he was black is thus a bit erroneous. Also it's a fallacy to suggest that voting for Obama because he was black is the same as voting against McCain because he isn't; A = !B does not imply B = !A.
Personally I voted for a third party and yes there are about fifty of them and most people believe this 2 party system is all there is. Since the mainstream media is controled by a handful of Elite scum, they give us the illusion that are votes mean something when in reality the 2 party's are 2 sides to the same coin. So many of you are so propagandized that you don't even know it. It's time to say bye to mainstream and join the internet crowd and do some real research on our reality as the rabbit hole goes very deep.
