I guess not many people are reading these posts, but one day in the future I might.  Arrived in Montreal after a long day of travelling and I'm quite knackered and feel my mood slipping once more.  After internets I will go for a wander to find food and then maybe drink ale in bed and read a bit.  Maybe talk to hostel room mates if they appear, as

I'm reading these posts. I visited San Francisco and Vancouver a few years ago and it's really interesting to see where our paths intersect and diverge.

The bears are very real; a huge one turned up in the garden of my relatives’ house in West Van.

My ex-Edinburgh friend Andy lives in North Vancouver and narrowly missed meeting one in his garden the first night I was there!

I can never go to Vancouver - every time I saw or heard someone mention Granville St, I'd start doing "Open All Hours" impressions.

Torrential rain in Seattle right now - you and my parents got the best weather of the year, I reckon. Hope Canadia is as kind to you!

It's been pretty good weather wise, although leaving Vancouver saw some amazing rain for a short time. I was thinking of that Granville while on the street, but forgot about the impressions.

Do you read all of them? The jacket story is in paragraph four. Oh how I miss that jacket! We only had five or six months together, but they were happy times! (I even went through my Facebook photos seeing how many pictures there are of me in it, and there are many).
