some things I did in the last few days

I did some things.  On Friday I climbed up Darwen moor, which, as the name suggests, is near Darwen, which is between Bolton and Blackburn, not far from where I live.  It was a good walk and on the top there is a Victorian space rocket tower, which was open so I climbed up it.  I like moors.  I am very Northern.

Yes, looking for jobs, never finding jobs, playing the internet, reading books, climbing hills, running round lakes, making music, trying to get gigs, worrying about the future, feeling a bit of a loser, etc, etc.

Darwen moor is a cool place to explore. The Victorian Space Rocket is one of the weirder landmarks one is likely to see.

I am glad you are keeping busy with stuff other than jobseeking since there is only a finite number of jobs one can apply for.

There really are so few jobs going it's quite demoralising. I can't even get any to apply for some weeks!

I know. I remember last time I was doing that 3 applications a month was a lot. However try explaining that to the DWP....

...not that I ever did.
