Hey everybody. Long time no see.

Not much has happened since I last posted. Still waiting to hear from the Sundance people whether or not we're in the '08 festival. I apologize for not letting you know that the short was done and online for your viewing pleasure. If you'd like to check it out, it's here. You'll need Quicktime 7, and ( Read more... )

Like my opinion is worth anything.

I'm trying to figure out how to to a sci-fi screenplay on only three sets and not have the final film look like it was made on $54.39

You've got a script? I may be able to help get you up to the $60 range. :-)

Welcome back! (For this one brief moment)

For God And Country:

I can see that you've taken what you've done previously and gone toward the next full step with this.

My only criticism was that with some of the actors, I wasn't "feeling it" through them in some of the scenes. Another small note might be that their voices were a bit quiet in some of their parts (example: when Gunn grimly declares "We will have peace!")

The atmosphere, the music, the pace of the film were quite good. I can see a lot of time was putting into the production.

I've gotta admit, having worked with you two, it gave me a whole new perspective and appreciation on what it takes to make a film production : )

Journal-

I wouldn't say stop with your journal. If you've completely decided on it, then go for it. Some of us would still like to read your writings : )

Yeah, his lines there at the "pit" were all recorded in my apartment, so getting levels and reverb correct for that atmosphere was a bit tricky. Thanks for the compliments/critiques. I always like seeing how my projects look to people not involved in this part of the industry.

As far as the lj goes, yeah, it's time to call it quits. Email still works though, so keeping in touch won't be too difficult. :-)

I just tried it again, and it worked for me. You've got QT7, right? Stupid codec will only work for that version. :-/

Yeah, Tom says it's built into the Mac here - but for some reason all I see is the "Q" and nothing else, no buttons or anything to start it...

open Quicktime, then click on "QuickTime Player", then About QuickTime Player. If it says anything other than 7.something, you've gotta update. I don't really know why it's not working for ya. :-(
