I'm co-owner of a small video studio. You all know this. Despite all our best intentions, we've been lackluster in forwarding our goal of being a major force in the industry. Good for you!
You know, in the Big Scheme of Things, you guys really haven't been around all that long; and yes, day jobs get in the way, I know it totally blows.
But if you have a goal, might as well get on it, right? Get busy living or get busy dying, as Tim Robbins might say... ;)

I find myself in the same boat, dreaming mightily about this and that goal, and at the end of the workday I'm mentally exhausted and can only maybe manage something practical like paying bills or making dinner. Then the next day, I'm berating myself for not pushing harder to realize my goals.

But, there is progress, however slow it may be, and I remind myself the old maxim of "progress, not perfection".
