Bowling and Les Miserables

Tonight I went bowling (laser bowling) with DD, Kim, Dan, Cindy, and Kristen.  It was really nice to hang out with them again.  Good people.  I got a 144 and 115.  Not too bad for not being able to see!

I’m currently in Les Miserables mode.  Finished the novel on Monday.  Absolutely loved it.  Ken burned me a copy of the soundtrack.  Listening

I saw it on Broadway last year and o..m..g it was amazing. Les Miserables is one of my all-time favorite musicals. Within the stage they had a "Lazy Susan" type of thing so they could just rotate the stage to change scenes. What do you think of "On My Own?"

i am so jealous that you were fortunate enough to see it on Broadway. you're so lucky. i'll bet the stage effects and scenery were stunning. yeah, "On My Own" was one of the songs that stood out to me when i listened to the soundtrack.

What the ef is laser bowling?

And if you don't get to go with the Frenchies, we'll have to watch the concert; it's not exactly the play, but it's close.

hahaha, "what the ef?" laser bowling is when they shut off the lights and put on strobe lights and disco balls. they use black lights on the lanes and the pins, and they play loud music. and you definately cant see the arrow on the lane for aiming. it's odd...but oddly fun too.

yes, we'll have to watch the DVD. i look forward to that.
