Man, life was boring lately, and what was up with that? Not enough good pranks going around, or anything of that sort. It was a sad day when Nathaniel started growing overly bored. A sad day, and probably a bad one, too, since it tended to cause him to start to think up new things to do. No idea who it would turn out to be bad for, but it would ( Read more... )

Bri was taking a walk on the grounds to clear her head a bit before heading back into study. OWL year was a lot tougher than she thought and she had things on her mind - family things, mostly.

Nathaniel stopped his... pacing, or whatever it was he had been doing, when he heard a voice calling his name.

Well, it wasn't as good as pranking, but talking to people he liked was always a good thing, too, right? Besides, Bri was ace at Potions, and she enjoyed it to. He just had to respect a girl like that, after all.

"Hey, Bri," he said with a grin. "You bored, too?"

Bri shook her head and smiled.

"No, just taking a break from OWL studies. They've really been piling on the work lately, haven't they?"

Not that Bri minded a little work. She enjoyed most of her classes - if you didn't count Charms or Transfiguration and those she only disliked, because she was bad at them.

"Oh," he said with a shrug. "Yeah, I guess they have been." He didn't sound very interested in that topic of conversation -- mostly because he wasn't. OWLs were coming up, blah blah. He wasn't paying nearly as much attention to them as he should have been.

"You working hard on them, then?"

How boring. Though he didn't say that out loud, of course. He liked Bri well enough, after all.
