i think it was the whole gay marriage thing... although it passed in michigan and we still went to kerry.

rudy giuliani and mit romney (massachussets gov.) were listed as possibilities.

i don't think arnold schwarzenegger becoming a governor warrants a constitutional amendment to let him be president just because he's popular and a movie star, so i doubt that'll happen anytime soon.

i don't think obama will actually run in '08, because his senate term will still have two years to go. it could possibily be 2012 or even 2018 before he runs. gore said he wouldn't run this time around, doesn't mean he won't run again. hillary clinton has been mentioned as a big name contender for '08, but i don't know if that can win it back from the republicans. we'll just have to wait another four years and see what happens.
