I'm turning 23 today. So far, I've gotten really great gifts from Matze but we're waiting for my sister to wake up and get here before I get anything from my parents (it's going to be books). My mom took me clothes shopping this week so I'm well-equipped for the summer that'll hopefully arrive sometime soon

I'd love to meet as many people as possible when I come to the US including you! The universities I picked are in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York but I'll travel and my uncle loves going to Florida to go shopping and is there a couple of times a year, so maybe I'll have an excuse to go to Orlando for a couple of days without spending a fortune?

i am so happy you're looking in the new england area. that's easily the cheapest place for me to travel to from here, so even if you don't have a reason to come down this way, i can always find one to come up there! :D

Yay! So we'll find a way to meet up? I've always been in love with the New England area though I can't for the life of me explain why and my university has some amazing partner universities in the region, so the choice wasn't really that hard. Plus, some of the English departments are just to die for which was my number one priority.

I'm pretty sure I'm coming over to study next year. Even if I don't get a scholarship, I'll still come since tuition will be waived anyway (which is why I can choose some pretty great, expensive schools). The only question is if I'll get some financial aid to pay for living expenses.

I'd love to see you write! Runaway_tales is not the great hub of activity it used to be but we're hoping to revive it a bit. I'm really partial to the community and love it, so seeing you post somethig there would make my day!

Good luck with getting on that course. I can understand about not wanting to talk about things before they're fully sorted and it's really happening. I really hope you get your first choice of placement.

I won't be the one bugging you about writing, not with my track record *lol*.

Although I have some ideas I've been playing around with for a new story so maybe the summer games at runaway_tales will kick my muses back into action too.

I don't even need an off the charts hot summer, just regular summer with sun and not gray skies. I live at Lake Constance and I'm sick of nonstop fog.
