Emmitt is here..
At 7:33 am May 3rd, Emmitt finally made it into our side of the world..and thank you lord, he is healthy, beautiful, and mine..I am so grateful that this time i was able to be more alert during the delivery and i remember everything..he is doing wonderfully, he eats well, sleeps well, and only crys when he his hungry or has a dirty diaper..he is ( Read more... ) -
Happy Mother's Day..
My feet and ankles are swollen to about 3 times their normal size, my belly is still so tender from my c-section I can't stand up without catching my breath, and I have spit up on my shoulder and dried pee in my hair..but i have two beautiful healthy little boys ( a 3year old and a newborn), and the most generous husband in the world. Only 2 hours!
On the way to the hospital to meet Emmitt! My c-section is scheduled in 2 hours..so nervous, so tired, so excited! Please wish me luck, healthy baby healthy momma, and i cant wait to introduce him to Gaston this afternoon..cross you fingers all goes well..love,B -
17 Days and counting..
Only 17 days left max, till we meet Emmitt..I cant sleep again for the second night in a row..just cant turn my mind off, and dispite the fact that it is below 70 degrees in my room, i am hot and uncomfortable..so i am drinking cold milk in hopes that it will help me to relax and get some much needed sleep..it feels like i had a cup of coffee at 7 ( Read more... ) -
Only 5 weeks left..
If all goes as planned I will be delivering Emmitt on the morning of May 3rd..so only 5 weeks away..We are all ready to meet him..we did get a good peek at him a couple weeks ago when we had a 3d ultrasound..we caught him sticking his foot in his mouth and smiling :) He looks so much like Gaston, but i think he might have my nose ( Read more... ) -
Saturday night..
The Underdog is on a golf trip, this is the last night, his 4th night away,..little dude is at his grandmother's..his mimi sue..and my mother is in town and bringing this pregnant lady some spicey shrimp pasta for dinner..i just had a glass of really good red wine and am about to put my feet up in an empty house..it feels so strange knowing that i ( Read more... ) -

Week 19..
yesterday i went to the doctor for my check up, and finally got to see the baby..everything looked wonderful..the heart, the spine, the brain, the bladder, the stomach..and we got to see that we have a toe sucker on our hands...the baby had his or her foot right up to the mouth, they would scratch their forehead and then stick the toes in their ( Read more... ) -
