I think that we've all had moments like that. We've had to bear with each other for a very long time, and it's hard not to build an image in our head of each other and often we wish to change it ( ... )

1) There is not a single nation I've met whose people I on the whole did not like. People tend to be quite nice wherever you go, on an individual level. However, quite obviously, no nation can be the same as a single person within it, and it's a waste of time to wish otherwise. A nation is made of thousands of people, and since mob mentality makes everyone insane, nations aside from my sister and myself are by nature irrational and often obnoxious.

2) Are you suggesting that I dislike myself? I'm quite satisfied with my lot in life, thank you. ...I suppose at times it can be lonely at my house. But that's all, and it's none of anyone's business.

LOL. I never thought of it that way.

Oh, no, I wasn't suggesting that at all. You can love yourself and still dislike aspects of yourself.

1) A nation is no more or less than its people, after all.

2) I understand. Still, such things are my business, and I can't complain.
