So Elizaveta wanted her to not get her distracted. That would have been something she responded to quite quickly if it hadn't been for...

"AAAAH Lizzy look at the hamsters!!" she squealed, poking at the glass with one of her fingers. "Why are they all so cute??" She pried herself away from the display and turned slowly around to face her roommate. "Okay. Kitten stuff! Where should we start?"

Food, toys, bedding, bowls, litter? Was it cats that needed litter or dogs?

"Hamsters--where?" She pivoted as gently as she could, careful not to swing the case around wildly before Isabella turned to look at her as well. They stood for a few seconds, staring, before the other woman began to speak. "Yes! Kitten stuff!"

Back to the matter at hand, Elizaveta put one finger to her lips and hummed in thought. "Let's see... We'll need a bed. Aaaand a plastic bin thing for the kitty litter... Oh, bowls! Though the guy at the Humane Society place said that the kitten would still need to be fed formula for awhile longer..."

It had been ages since she had to take care of a kitten this small. Not since early years of high school when one of the barn cats had babies (which surprised her since she always thought it was a boy).

Isabella wandered over to the closest aisle away from all of the other animals. She had to remove herself. Otherwise she would stay there until the store closed and that wouldn't be very productive at all.

"AHA! I found the food section~!" she cried with a pose of triumph. Her victory was short lived as she realized there were one two three four...too many kinds of pet foods around. "Uh, Lizzy, which one should we go with?"

Elizaveta followed behind her roommate, agreeing with the unspoken knowledge that distance = less distraction. She set the carrying case for the kitten down on the floor, squatting down next to it as she inspected the array of food choices.

"We'll get this formula for now..." she mused, taking out a large can of powered formula. "Just mix this with warm water in a little bowl. And very soon we'll be able to start mixing it with more and more canned food." Still crouching, Elizaveta crab-shuffled a few spaces over and began to study the small cans of kitten food. "We don't have to worry about dry food just yet~"
