Beck looked at his watch. It had been late when they’d left the office; now it was really late. He looked over on the couch. Heather was asleep. Poor thing. She’d had a rough night. He went over to her and gently shook her shoulder.

“Heather. Heather, wake up.”

“Mmmm?”

“Heather, if you’ll get your things I can take you to base camp. It’s safe ( Read more... )

*raises hand* Yep - I've got the first issue. Only the first issue is out right now; I'm trying to figure out when the next issue is supposed to be released. :)

I had pre-ordered my on line through TFAW. They didn't ship it until Friday - am anxiously awaiting UPS delivery!

While I don't want any detailed spoilers...is there at least any Heck interactions in the first comic book?

This chapter was freakin' awesome!! I love me some heroic, protective Beck, and kick-ass Heather. :D

Loved the whole chapter; walking Heather home, the waiting attackers, the battle, Beck finding out about the bounty, Beck taking care of Heather, the kiss (!).

Okay, I hated the fact they killed the cat. :( :( I will refrain from calling them what I would like to call them as this isn't my journal. *snuggles my own cat*

I have to say, though, that this was my favourite part:

“Never seen him like that before, huh?”

“Uh-uh.”

The soldier didn’t seem to notice that they’d had two entirely different conversations.

For some reason, this just made me grin. Loved it! :)

Looking forward to more...

He found himself watching her sleep. She looked so exhausted. And beautiful, despite the pain. He reached out, fingers brushing her cheek.

This is just so sweet!!

I also agree with Shirleyann - the soldier not realizing they had 2 different conversations made me laugh!

Can't wait to see what comes next!
