Glad to see Hawkins and Jake back in Jericho.
And it reminded him of the things Hawkins was trying to teach him about perceptions, and letting his temper interfere with what needed to be done.
And really glad to see that Jake is starting to grow up a little bit. :) I do love Jake, but his "act first, think later" personality can be very tiring after awhile.
Her feelings for Jake had been as intense - and superficial - as a high school crush. She, the shy geeky girl. He, the brooding bad boy with a mysterious past. But as she’d told him, she’d come to realize they weren’t right for each other. She wasn’t dangerous, whereas he thrived on it.
And yet - she never hesitates to do what needs to be done (going into the library; working with Eric to try and blow up the munitions factory; stealing the paper from Beck's office).
Lovely little homecoming scene - looking forward to more (no pressure). :)

Yeah, that's my main beef with him. Slow down and think before haring off once in a while, or you'll just make things worse.

True. She just doesn't go out *looking* for it the way Jake does.

Jake had a lot to be upset at Beck about and it's getting through his slightly dense and heroic head that Beck didn't have a whole lot of choice in the matter, especially with the information he'd been given.
Also like Hawkins being willing to let Beck take a look at the files that are locked on the computer. :)
