Seriously though, I liked your take on the characters, especially Agravaine. His choices on how to deal with Merlin, and the language for him sounded very much like the man we've seen on the show -- proper and elegant and formal, yet vicious and devious and without much care or concern (except for Morgana, which showed through even in that brief sentence about he must not fail her). It worked for me as a reader.
Can't wait to read that second part. *nudge nudge* :D

I really wish the writers had made Agravaine the actual threat he is here. Creepily IC. I especially loved the little bit where he says he actually enjoys the thrill of nearly being caught.
Anyway. Hope he gets his comeuppance soon!
