I'm so ill...my computer went stupid on me last night and I lost everything :~(...and had very little backed up...ok I actually had most of it backed up...but recently realized my stack of floppies had some how melted...WTF...the computer gods HATE ME...*cries*...so I've spent most of the night trying to get stuff loaded back on my computer...which ( Read more... )

Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services/ and scroll down to Messenger. Right click to go into properties and set its startup type to disable. This'll make it not turn on when you next reboot. You can stop the service now too if you like, won't hurt it.

You know, i have been having some problems with mine as well. I thought it was NETSCAPE, my ISP provider, so i told them and all their American named ghandies to Piss off! Then, just last night my neighbor, Richard, said that he was having problems since i have introduced him to LJ. Now fleuresentcrayon is saying that shes having probs too- THis is ALL leading me to wonder if LJ is the culprit out there!

hmmm....makes you think...who knows anymore...oh well...I'm getting it taken care of little by little...howevert I lost over 500 fairy pics I had downloaded :~(...SO HEY PEOPLE if you come across any cool fairy pics send them my way...I have to build a new collection

My computer crashed totally and completely last year while I was in the middle (actually almost finished) writing a 7 page Biomedical Ethics term paper. I lost it all!!!! I wish I had some advice for you but all I can do is let you know I feel your pain. Hope you can fix your problem :)

oh geez that fucking sucks...at least schools over and I didn't have to deal with any of that :~\...I've mostly got the main things back...I'll just have to spend another month scanning pics :~\
