I got bored of sitting at my drawing board thinking with my pen so I wandered down to the computer room to make a pointless LJ post, I realised that I had started to write in the 3rd person, almost as a narrator of a book or short story.

Chris quickly got bored of this and moved on to talk like a sensible person making a somewhat sensible LJ post.

Geometric Curiosities

My current project is for a block of flats and my design is based on a base of 16 units repeated upwards, each unit is essentially a trapezoid in plan and a parallelogram in section each unit is set upto each other so that the parallelograms long edges meet and the trapezoid creates a curve , see diagram bellow.

Found out a little more why I failed, and that I was told that it wasn't good enough, just not directly. They assumed that we would read carefully everything they give us ¬¬

it’s my own fault really.

Fortunately I can put it back though as a late submission in may ((iirc)) with it capped at 40. This is a much better plan than doing so in the summer ( Read more... )
