Attache Na'Toth run in G’Kar’s quarters, panting from fast run.
“They have not obeyed you, ambassador! Today they are going to start massacre of all Centauri at station! The attack is to take place in two hours. ”
G’Kar jumped up like scalded.
“Damned bastards! Schrock! - he growled, quickly putting on the leather waistcoat, - it is necessary to stop them immediately. While situation still not gone too far. What’s weapon they have?”
“PPG, riffles, but, basically, they are armed with the poisoned Drazi knifes, - Na’Toth answered, helping him to dress his coat, - Should I inform the Captain Sheridan?”
“No! - G’Kar waved his hand, - If he tries to stop them, there will be more violence only. Or they will wait a few days and will attack later. This must to be stopped at the source! They rejected my authority. I have to reclaim it!”
“You don't mean you're going to...?”
“Oh, I have no choice!”
“Then I'm coming with you!” - she told resolutely, checking, whether is her PPG on place.
G’Kar shaken his head.
“I don't think that would be wise! This is my private affair, Na'Toth.”
“You will need someone to watch your back. If it's not me, who would you prefer?”
G’Kar sighed and left his quarters. She followed him...

Na’Toth, watched duel of two Narns having clenched fists. For one instant primitive thirst of blood superseded all other feelings from her mind.
“Kill him, G’Kar!” - she whispered, steadfastly looking on G’Kar and his opponent.
G’Kar conceded to the impudent young man in dexterity and speed, but he was much more skilled than him. He gradually began to win the ringleader.
Na’Toth joyfully rubbed her palms, having seen, G’Kar’s contender moved back.
“Kill him, G’Kar! - she muttered, having jumped up in excitement, - Finish off this mongrel!”
She has noticed by edge of an eye, as one of Narns pulled out PPG. Without thinking twice, Na’Toth struck him with fist on the face from all strenght. And then she threateningly turned to other Narns. They have made a helpless gesture only in confuse.
Unexpectedly G’Kar’s contender snatched out a knife. The long blade dimly flashed on light.
“The coward! What the mean coward!” - Na’Toth begun to roar, having seen his act.
G’Kar still battled by bare hands as a rule of the duel demanded. Supporters of young Narn have quieted down a little: the ambassador obviously showed the contempt for his opponent.
But the knife not rescued young Narn from failure. In some minutes he, howling from a pain, rolled on a floor with the broken hand.
Na’Toth, excited by this show, looking at ambassador G’Kar with sparking red eyes. Now she was overflown with pride of him. He was magnificent and come out the winner from this duel.
G’Kar addressed to crowded Narns with speech, calling them to obedience. They listened to his words, having got under his magnetic influence, especially strong now.
The ambassador has looked back on Na’Toth and, having noticed her admired sight, winked at her.
Na'Toth smiled back to him. G’Kar was amazing!
Narns hasty retired, having left their unlucky leader to lay on the floor, coiling from a pain.
G’Kar was directed to Na’Toth having shaken dust off the crumpled clothes. He wanted to tell to her something, but suddenly shuddered and faltered.
Na’Toth seen in horror, that wounded Narn, stabbed G’Kar in the back with knife. Gods, unless it is possible to turn the back to such insignificant rascals?!
Having screamed, Na’Toth rushed to him, ready to pick up. G’Kar, gasping from a pain, instantly turned to the one who has struck him and blew him away by his powerful impact of a fist.
“ Ambassador G’Kar!” - she screamed, hold him up.
‘I’m all right, Na’Toth, - G’Kar answered hoarsely, trying to be released from her hands, - Just a scratch. But, it seems, it was the poisoned knife of Drazi..."
“I'll call physicians!” -Na’Toth told, shivering from excitement.
But G’Kar squeezed her hand tightly.
“No! It is not necessary to call anybody! It is not necessary to make noise because of such trifles. We should not show our weakness, Na’Toth. Only not now. Not in such time. I'll cope with it, be sure. Just go near to me. Hold me up…”
They slowly went in the direction of Green Sector. G’Kar gradually weakened, leaning on her more and more.
Na'Toth felt the growing panic. There was her fault here. If she looked not at him, but on his enemies, he would not get this wound. And now his life is threatened with danger. Why was she such stupid?
"He is so heavy!" - Na’Toth thought with sigh. She shivered almost as appreciable as well as he. G’Kar, having noticed it, smiled weakly.
“Calm down, Na’Toth. Everything will be all right. I know this poison. It is not fatal. Well, I'll tell so... it is not fatal for Narns… Simply some days I'll be in a fever. But it can be gone through, isn't it?”
He screwed face, having touched to his side.
Na'Toth stopped, having looked at his wound.
“Too much blood for such trifling scratch! Are you sure, what the help of the physicians is not necessary for you, ambassador? I can lead you to Medlab…”
“No, Na’Toth! - he snarled, having squeezed her shoulder. - Bleeding is caused by influence of poison. This wound is trifle. I have appropriate antidote in my quarters. We shall go faster. Because we begin to draw attention of people.”
Na’Toth noded and hold his elbow more feasibly, supporting him. The rare passers-by, who are coming across them on a way, gaped at them with surprise. Having sighed, Na’Toth understood, that these so close embraces, undoubtedly, draw people’s attention.
"Well, I don’t care!" - she thought and then turned to G’Kar with a smile. He understood her hint and smirked, too.
Na'Toth braced herself and put easy expression on her face. Nobody should see their weakness. The ambassador was right.
G’Kar smiled even more widely, trying to not lean on her too hard.
“Your heart is pounding too fast, - he whispered to her, - Really did you so worry for me?”
“ I didn’t worry at all, ambassador,” - Na’Toth answered in tone to him, practically dragging him on herself.
“Why? - G’Kar was surprised, trying to find balance, - Really, is my fate not interesting to you?"
“ Well… why should I worry? - she said, having looked in his eyes with wry smile, - I did not doubt you win in this duel. But I did not expect, that you are capable to turn your back to such artful opponent! You have acted very precipitately, ambassador. I did a mistake, too...schrock! I should expect it...”
G’Kar grinned, trying to keep straight.
“Next time I'll break to him both hands,” - he told, chuckling.
She grabbed him for sleeve, having felt, that he losed balance again.
“I sincerely hope, next time will not happen at all, ambassador…”
Na'Toth shoved him in the transport tube. Poison began to operate, it was appreciable on G'Kar's appearance. The ambassador shivered more and more.
As they have come in the tube, Na’Toth found out with disappointment, there is Mr. Zack Allen stands here.
G’Kar significantly grasped her shoulder and then embraced her tightly. She nestled on him, trying to hide G’Kar’s stained with blood side from sergeant, hoping, ambassador will not fall right now.
Having seen Na’Toth in G'Kar's embraces, Zack smiled confusely. Then he started talking, unable to suffer awkward silence.
“Have a good time, ambassador, uh? - he asked with significant sight. - In the pleasant company as far as I see…hmm...”
Na’Toth silently grinned at him, leaning on the wall, trying to not fall down under ambassador's weight. G’Kar shivered with all body now.
“Yes-s…yes, we are… entertained...a little...” - he answered, clanking with teeth, trying to not slip on a wall. And looked at Na'Toth ardently.
“ Well…I wish you pleasant evening then!”
Sergeant Allen grinned and, having winked, left tube at the next level.
As soon as he left, Narns exchanged glances.
“ Huh, I hope, you will not take offence at me because of it, Na’Toth…- G’Kar mutters, leaving from the tube. - Well, I'll go farther myself. It is not necessary to see off me. Thanks you for the help. And now, Na’Toth, it is better to you to take that bastard to Mr. Garibaldi. Certainly, it will cause scandal, but it is necessary to inform the security all the same. Go on!”
Na’Toth stepped aside uncertainly.
The ambassador slowly hobbled to the quarters and inserted his ID into the door-lock. Having noticed, that Na’Toth still stands in a corridor, he barked angrily:
“Leave me alone! I have told you are free! Ah, Na'Toth, you are such obstinate sometime!”
She has turned to leave, but then decided not and made a deep sigh.
“Ambassador, let me to help you, - she told, entering together with him in the quarters. - Your wound requires careful treatment, and you are not capable now to...”
“Na’Toth, I am not pouchling, so I can take care of myself!” - G’Kar answered angrily, falling on the bed.
She become angry at once and gloomy looked at him.
“So, ambassador, you have two variants now: either you will spend your precious time, arguing with me, or you allow me to examine your wound. What do you choose?”
He frowned and wanted to object again, but broken off and sighed wearily.
“Very well… so where you keep this antidote?” - she asked, helping him to pull down his waistcoat and the shirt...
