I heard from GAP today! I leave for Japan on the 2nd of September and I'm placed at a private girls high school. Ooh la la. There are two other 'gappers' placed an hour away from me, who I am going to email this weekend and make friends with. It is an excuse to buy new clothes

Thanks for the Red Dwarf quiz!

Asuka absolutely rules. She's extremely competitive, rather aggressive... and has a nervous breakdown. She comes out of it OK though and saves the day (I think, it was in Korean so I can't be sure) It's one of the best anime around - you really should watch it. Musings on the origins of man etc. - really interesting.

Ah...I have some manga of it...but it's like number three in the series and so I don't understand it and she doesn't appear in my one. I don't think. She sounds cool though.

Nobody ever understand EVA. My ex-boyfriend uses this as an excuse to lend people the videos in the wrong order. Some people are strange.
