Okay, new type of spam post number 1:

I need to explore the moderated community options. Could a bunch of you try to join legendary_photo so I can see what happens? I've changed it to moderator approved membership, and I need to see how it works. I also need those of you who are in it to make a post about anything (introduce yourself to the community and tell ( Read more... )

I did so, and also discovered that I can only make one post, then have to wait for it to be approved before I can make another. Could be useful to know! :)

I live to assist! Let me know if I should try anything to break the community. :)

It makes me worry when you plan on being destructive. My community may not survive.

No, no, constructive destruction. You know, the time-honored game of poking things with sticks until we figure out where the weak spots are so that we can reinforce them with putty.

Well, I just sent you a post to play with, and I can try my hand at answering the edits here:

As far as I know, mods cannot edit other users' posts. Mods can delete posts, I believe, but actual editing is up to the original poster, as is adding to the post.

Okay, I rejected yours, just to see how that works (nothing personal, it actually made me laugh, so I'd like for you to submit it again). You should get an email with my reason. And as far as I can tell, that's it. Just approve or reject, no inbetween options, which is too bad.

Yep, I just got a rejection email showing that you are indeed mad with power, :) and I can forward it to you if you'd like to see what they look like for future reference.

In the meantime, the post will rise like a pheonix from the ashes of rejection and try to get itself accepted again. You can do it, little post! Fly!
