Today, I'm talking randomly about my trip to Busch Gardens<3
So, today, me and Nodoka (my internet daughter/real life best friend) went to Busch Gardens, because we had no more exams, and what's a better place to spend the beginning of summer than at an amusment park? Anyways, so we get there, and we realize we can't take our bag with all our stuff on the first ride (Loch Ness Monster) and so we decide to get a day locker, because regular lockers are actually a lot more costly and it's easier to keep up with stuff this way. Anyways, so we get to the place where you buy the lockers, and we see it doesn't accept 20 dollarbills, which, of course, are the only things we have on us. So, we go to one place, but because the park just opened, they can't give us change for our twenty. So we had to go buy a bottle of water for three dollars, and since the locker was six, we had blown around ten dollars in the first ten minutes.
After we finally got the locker situation fixed, we headed over to Loch Ness. While we were riding, we were trying to think of a pose to do for the picture-taking on that ride. The last time we had come to BG, we had been different APH characters during the poses, for example, I was America and she was Iggy on one, I was Poland and she was Liet on another, etc. We decided to continue that today by trying to act like Austria and Hungary on Loch Ness. But it didn't work out so great, because the seat in front of us blocked the view of my invisible frying pan (Nodoka had done the Objection!Austria).
So, then we headed for Big Bad Wolf, just to get it done with, because the line on that thing always sucks because it's the least scary roller coaster, so everyone does it. It wasn't so bad today though, because it was a Friday and most people were still in school. However, there was still a line, so we talked about Pocky's fanfictions during it, and how she had pretty much converted Nodoka to JapanxTaiwan in that one story. Then I was like, "What if the Hetalia characters went to Busch Gardens one day because America somehow got them a day with only them in the park to promote good relations or something?" And Nodoka said to that, "Write ittttttttttt." So, yeah, if I get any free time, be expecting that!
After that, we headed to Alpengheist, which is the best roller coaster in the park, so yeah, I was pretty excited! During the short waiting time, I talked to Nodoka about wanting to meet Warri maybe some day (because I think some other couples on GW have met), and she said, "Warri could be a 50-year-old pedo, you know." I replied to that, "Don't talk about your mother that way! You're grounded!" (Nodoka kept getting grounded throughout the day.) So she said, "How are you going to find her? Do you even know anything really about where she lives or anyting?" "No, but I'll just ask around for a girl who knows some named Natsumi and is about two or so years older than me. Yeah, that'll work." "Yeah, too bad we have no way of getting to Canada." "I won a hundred dollars the other day!" "I think going there would cost more than that, for round trip, etc." "Not if you don't come!" "Your parents won't let you." "You're grounded again." And so on... Then we rode the ride and I died of happiness<3 Oh, I looooooooooove Alpengeist.
So then we headed to Griffon, which seats like 60 people a minute, so we didn't wait at all for that. Nodoka and I had no chance to talk then. I freaked out hard though (I'm afraid of heights), especially when we reached the top. As we started the actual moving fast part of the ride, I started yelling out random crap like, "THE WATER IS COMING!" "I GOT WET!" "WE BEAT THE WATER TO THE GROUND!" (Don't ask.)
After freaking out over that, we headed through France, and walked past the best ice cream place in the whole park (unfortunately, we had no money, so...) Nodoka and I had an interesting conversation about why the best ice cream was in France IT'S TO LURE IN PEOPLE OBVIOUSLY. So, because I hadn't had lunch, I got a small pizza that was cheap in England (we were on our way to Apollo's Chariot, and it was right by the Day Locker, so...) I started eating it, and said, "Hm, this is good. But we're in England. Nodoka, it doesn't make sense!" "It's because it's a pizza with tomatoes and he stole it from Italy!" "PASTAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Then we headed to Escape from Pompeii because it was right there. I sat in the second row, because that's where you get the least wet, but Nodoka totally abandoned me and sat in the front. I yelled, "Grounded abandoner!" because I was all alone in the second row
We walked over to Roman Rapids after than, even though I HATE that ride (Nodoka loves it). We waited in the eternally long line, and as soon as we go to the top, someone dropped their glasses in the water on the ride, and tried to get out to the boat and get them. So they had to completely re-start the ride for safety purposes and Nodoka made me wait there for thirty minutes. But it was actually really fun, because the staff gave us all this free water, and people started throwing it on each other. Eventually, that stopped, but then they tried to convince one of us to go up front and sing something (because I was right in front it was mainly me). I told Nodoka I'd do it if she did it with me, and we sang "Maru Kaite Chikyuu" and did the CarmellDansen, but unforutnately, she didn't want to. So we went and beat up these seven year-olds (just kidding, sort of).
After we rode the stupid thing, and I was completely drenched, we walked over to Apollo's again to dry off. This time, it was fine, and we rode it smoothly. Done with the ride, a few minutes later, we decided to do all the rollercoasters again, in reverse order. Next on the list then was Griffon! While walking to Griffon, we talked more about the fanfiction (and decided America wouldn't be scared of any of the rides, Japan would buy all the pictures he could, and Hungary would try to bring a frying pan on a ride, but the start-of-line guy would stop her, so she'd throw it at him).
On the way to Griffon, we randomly decided to do Corkscrew Hill (even though I hate that ride also). So, you know the one part with the bird-servant thing that belongs to the witch? When it picked us up, I was like, "It's a short cut to the Griffon! I'm so happy we decided to ride this!" Nodoka said, "Shut up."
We walked to Griffon then (though I did stop for a second to stare lovingly at the bald eagles and wolves because of their cuteness) and rode that the second time, without eventfulness. Then ALPENGEIST FRONT ROW YAAAAAY (though on the way, we were sad we probably weren't going to stop for the one ride in New France/Canada/Who?).
Then we rode Darkastle, because we were in the area, and Nodoka asked we in the boarding room of the ride, "Why are there doors with horseshoes on them in here?" I simply replied, "It's a stable." ".... STFU."
Actually, I'm going to skip around here, because nothing really cool happened after this. We went to Big Bad Wolf (talked about Pocky's fanfiction some more, and the Hetalia+BG thing, and more random crap about APH). Then we rode the swings (where we decided Spain and Romano would ride together (and Romano would start cussing because he would slide into bar between his legs) and Italy and Germany would ride together (or made Italy and Japan, just so Italy could swing the swing really hard like you're not supposed to) and England would be trying to knock France out of his swing the entire time). Next was the Battering Ram in Italy, which these other girls made us deaf because of their insane yelling.
AND THEN WE HEADED TO SESAME STREEEEEEET. We rode the rollercoaster there, and Prince Elmo's Spire, and were total dorks, f'yeah! And we totally crawled around in the little kids' play area! (It was then decided that US and UK should go randomly missing, and France thinks they're in the back part of the kid's area (which is pretty much hidden from plain view) and they're making out (we haven't decided if they really should be or not)). We headed to Loch Ness next, and talked to some random 10 year-olds.
For dinner, we went to the Festhaus (festhouse is how it's pronounced) in Germany. The wurst line was closed, but luckily you could still get potatoes (and beer)! (We got pizza again.) I was very disappointed to find out we had missed the dancers for Oktoberfest, which is some big celebration in Germany, but I forgot what it's about (I think they drink a lot during it though). Anyways, the dancers were these really, uh, interesting outfits, and I tried to imagine Germany in one, but that was verging on mentally scarring, so, I stopped. Nodoka and I began looking at the little flags you could buy on our way out, and found that there were ones for Greece and Russia also, who aren't even represented at Busch Gardens. o_O
After that, the day was pretty much done, except for riding Griffon one last time, and eating some Cotton Candy.
Thanks for reading all this,
