It's a match!

Holly crap. I installed Tinder to see how it works. I'm not fan of those kind of apps, but if I only go from home to work it will be very very hard to know someone.

So I upload a actual photo to my profile, set my real age, a short name, and started to see the photos that the app showed to me. I said myself "let's not do like or dislike, let's ( Read more... )

tinder, app

Sounds like a funny situation...

I've never used not one of such apps I've met my wife when we haven't any and I am living through all my life together with her... ) though decades ago we have something like this in Russia - “Odnoclasniki” to communicate with old classmates and I’ve registered in it, so after I started to get some notifications or messages from my former girlfriends to get into some relationships, so I skipped all this...

Well ya it was kinda funny but still stressful for me :(

I've never used things like that to meet people, I don't even use facebook messenger, but my problem is that I don't do any activity that allows me to meet people... even if there is a person looking for someone like me, he won't ever find me in this way

"Well ya it was kinda funny but still stressful for me :( "

I am looking or trying to look on things in more positive simple way... what is the reason to be stressful here...? I don't see any.

"my problem is that I don't do any activity that allows me to meet people... even if there is a person looking for someone like me, he won't ever find me in this way"

We have a funny song about the managers working full day before a monitor to make a bright career - which has the words - "Step by step before you have got not blind from monitor..."
I think if I you want something you have just to make a first step, it will be not the easiest one but the second will be much easy in any case…

I got afraid that some of those people live near me, get any info about me, get offended because I didn't reply and then bother me or something like that. Ya I know, probably they won't waste a minute of their lifes to even bitch me, but since I always get obsessed people it's easy for me to get scared.

I think I need to think seriously and honesty what I want. I always say that I want a serious and adult close relationship with someone but I don't look for anyone, I don't talk to people in real life, I don't go anywhere. In the other hand I have a long distance relationship, the kind of relationship that I say I Don't want but still I am there stucked to someone who is not even close to me.
My problem to do that first step is, as i said, is that the few people that I met in normal situations (like coworkers, mom's friends, etc) got obsessed with me even when I was not flirting not showing any interest on them at all.

lol yes I got scared that in some way they could get any info about me, like my phone number. Probably there is no way that the app shows them ur phone number but to be sure I deleted it

TInder is for booty calls/hook ups. If you swipe right on a guy, you're likely to get a reply. You're a pretty woman, so I imagine you got swamped once they saw you swipe right on them.

I thought you were attached to the guy in the U.S?

Ya I expected to get some info in their profile, like what they are looking for, what they like, what the do but nope, there is only photos and the like or dislike button, and I am not looking for booty calls, so I am done with Tinder lol ( ... )

I don't think I'll try it again, people from my country use it mostly for booty calls, and that's not what I am looking for. My friend told me to be ready to get men saying "hello" then sending penis photos. That's for me is kinda annoying... if I want to see penis I will rather watch porn instead searching for people in the app. Maybe I should try some site like Okcupido, match.com, etc, or stay in my corner away from the civilization lol

I've never used Tinder because it all sounds so confusing with the whole swipe left/right thing... I imagine it would have been crazy having all those matches that weren't really matches!

Ya I didn't know about the swipe and I messed it up badly. My male friend who uses the app told me that usually men do like to everybody then they wait to see what they get back.
