Kefir grains are not "grains" really but the starter culture of the bacteria. They are also called nodules or tibicos, and looks like crystals.

water kefir is a probiotic fermented drink very rich in the bacterias that your guts need. It helps immune system to get stronger. It also helps to reduce inflammation, irritable bowel symptoms, etc. I am drinking it to boost my immune system. I am also using the water like a tonic for skin allergy and it is healing my skin very well.

Never heard of kefir with orange juice. We have only milk products.
Your variant is very interesting.

There is milk kefir but I prefer the water. You can add other things instead oranges, like lemon, rainsis prunes, apples, strawberry juice, etc. always in the second fermentation, never in the first one. Maybe you can check if any store sell the dehydrated grains , like this https://www.amazon.com/Grains-Cultures-Health-Organic-Gluten/dp/B002ZIDELM

Here people usually donate their grains to others. I had to buy dehydrated grains because noone near home was donating it and I can't go to other city to pick it because the lockdown.
