did you get around to reading Octavian Nothing Volume 1?! if so, what'd you think?

i was already reading East of Eden, and then my two weeks with the book was up (and East of Eden was reallllllly long: 500+ pages) so i returned it for the world to view. i am sorry. i did read the first like three chapters though, I thought it was a little weird. didn't really read enough to get a solid impression.
