The Doctor opened his eyes but saw only total darkness. So, not actually awake then. At least, not physically. That was interesting. I have a five hour flight tomorrow which should be good for writing, seeing as I graded all my papers today.

As always, you give me way too much credit! Rose's sadness here is so palpable and the Doctor, I suspect, is going to be in an absolute frenzy when he wakes up. :)

I do not give you too much credit, I don't give you near enough praise that you deserve.

And yes, the Doctor is not going to be happy when he wakes up- and might take that out on a certain red head.

I am so glad that you like this, you wanted a bit of mind stuff and this is what I could come up with.

Oh and just a note, I think this chapter is up in my top three chapters that I have ever written- so thanks for pushing me to that.
