To Paint or Not to Paint and some new pics of the house

So i am thinking that maybe I should paint my bedroom. It could use some new carpet but we really just dont have the money for it. Its not that the carpet is completely worn out but the problem is we have new carpet in the living room and our bedroom connects to the living room so when you walk in you like...oh... this carpets not as nice. My room
