Hon, this is my first time reading a Harry/Ron. Or a Ron/Draco that doesn't end up being Harry/Draco. First time in all my years of HP.

And I loved it. I love the story, the longing and sacrifice that both of them are willing to make for the other. And I even can understand Draco, who feels threatened and therefore defensive because he's once again second to Harry Potter.

Also, it was interesting to see a different take on Harry and Draco's dynamic. I went out on a limb with no expectations, and you showed me greatness instead. Awesome.

Aw, Gen, thank you! I'm honored to be your first Harry/Ron. I think it's a sweet pairing, and I wish there were more of it out there. It's a bit telling to me how Draco-centric I am, though, as my favorite part about writing this was playing up Draco's insecurities. I didn't want to make him just a nasty cheater, but a cheater with a bit of a broken heart. I'm glad you liked that, too. ;)

Gotta take care of Draco, always :) Yea, the scene when Draco and Ron have their foreheads touching? This image bullied its way to the top of my mind several times the past few days. The mix of desperation, frustration, inevitability, tenderness, and defeat is so compelling. Even thinking about it now makes my heart squeeze. <3
