I used to fly model rockets when I was a kid with my dad! Don't know much about it though.

My brother and I used to make model rockets. The kind made of cardboard tubes and parachutes with an engine you buy at the hobby store. Is that what you mean?

Yeah, that's pretty much what I mean. I feel like "hobby stores" don't really exist in the same way that they used to, though. Not here at least.

Really? I think HobbyTown still exists in Lexington. I'm sure you can find a hobby store somewhere in New York.

Yeah, I'm sure they exist, but it's illegal to launch any model rockets within New York City limits, so they might very well not sell them.
