I love that book:-) Though i do agree that the ending could have done without the dating guide. Blech.

Funny story: Professor Segal (Psych/HD Prof, and my advisor) knows the author, and at one point had the opportunity to meet her family. Apparently the first chapter is little more than an autobiography. Not that it matters - good writing is good writing, regardless of the inspiration. I just found it amusing.

that's awesome- open mic night- I wish I cold have heard you sing! Let me know how it goes.

I definitely am on the same wavelength about the law bog- I just don't feel like the same person because so much of my energy before law school went into dancing, and now I just get to take a class 2-3 times a week. Much better than nothing- but I was always more fulfilled by choreographing. I'm still hoping to be able to do that- have a normal job during the day but be in a little dance company that meets several times a week and makes work. I'm not willing to live a dancer's lifestyle (constant touring and getting paid squat) but I want to hold onto the feeling that I am responsibile for creating work that affects people in a deeper sense. Maybe when I actually am practicing law I will get some of that satisfaction too, but right now I miss that feeling.
