you do look a bit like greta garbo - not totally like her, but that woman was right, there is a resemblance.

one person, just once, a few years ago (maybe even in high school), told me that I looked like Ben Stiller. I don't think so.

Hmmm, Ben Stiller. I think maybe you could be Ben Stiller's cousin- that's about as close as it gets. It's definitely the blue eyes, dark hair, somewhat angular face that draws the comparison.... but Ben Stiller looks meaner than you. I could just think that because I just saw a Friends skit where he was this big jerk, and you're not a big jerk. : )

Oh, man, you do actually. It's funny how that never occured to me, but I can totally see it now. You also have that closed-lip thing in common. You know, the smile that sometimes is all in the twist of the corner of your mouth.

When I lived overseas, I used to get Tina Turner and Whoopi Goldberg a lot ^_~ Of course, it was mostly because those are like the only black women people in Egypt knew about, so it was kind of a default comparison :-P

Um I do not see the Whoopi or Tina Turner resemblance.. except maybe that they and you have nice cheekbones. How long did you live in Egypt?

Seven years, give or take a few months. We went over in '87 for my dad's job with Westinghouse and we left in the summer of '94.
