if youre on a mac you can alter the character spacing which is usually good for about half a page. you could also choose another TNR-looking font. and there's always the possibility of throwing in a few good long footnotes, if that's your style

i love character spacing changes! they have saved my life from the day i was in newspaper in highschool till now, but wouldn't they be able to tell? I thought about that, cause it's subtle.... but wouldn't they know?
