I've been playing with the Random DC-Verse Fic Scenario Generator and the pairing one. I've got two longish ficlets in the process, but the first one I tried to stick to the rules with. I failed, of course, but I kind of like it. The second one, I can't explain. Um. yes.

Warning: Set in the Return of the Joker timeline.

Bloodying the Dragon

He decides to take a few weeks to enjoy the peace, afterward. Harley thinks it's a great idea and makes all kinds of plans for them, babbling about ponies and zoos.

Family stuff.

He'll maybe feel slightly wistful bashing her over the head with the list - wraped around a handy mallet, of course - when she presents it to him, because yeah, leaving Arkham would be *suicidal*...but those things had sounded kind of fun. Teaching Junior the proper way to take candy from babies had especially tickled his funny bone.

It's good for a father and son to share interests.

[The Joker / ...a story with Dragon in the title]
Question: Do drabbles have to be 100 words with or without the title?

There was something he was supposed to do. It was just hard to remember anything, looking at the bodies.

"McGinnis, check in. Status?"

Terry blinked. "I'm OK," he mumbled. He must've sounded weird, though, because Bruce continued. "What's the problem?"

"There's a. Sitiuation." Silence. "They're all dead." More silence for about half a second, then Bruce's voice: "Transmitting. "

It took a minute to remember that he needed to look around for Bruce to get anything useful.

He'd scanned the building twice before a click signified the end of Bruce's transmission. Terry called up the jet and made his way back to the cave.

Bruce was at the computer.

Terry's brow furrowed slightly as he recalled the scene. "I caught a complaint about noise and lights from the warehouse district on the police ban. I was close and it was slow so I checked it out. Must've been a rave or something. The music was pretty loud and there were strobes and all. Kind of retro, actually." He shook his head a little. "Um. The infrared read them as alive, so they couldn't have been dead more than a minute or two. I didn't read any movement once I got in." He found himself swaying and gripped the edge of the console. "Bruce - " His sight went dark.

[A black haired character / ...in a ficlet that includes the phrase, 'They're all dead.']

So...yes.

Oh! I got Kon-El/Destruction and I'm trying to write it, but it's really slow going because I have to research for the Teen Titans, and I'm really worried I'm not doing Kon justice, but the idea kind of really interests me. I can see Destruction and Kon having a really good conversation about stuff. Does anyone agree with me?

ETS: I fixed the Batman Beyond ficlet of some of the more glaring errors. I'll be hiding in a corner if anyone needs me.
