One of my biggest pet peeve arguments I come across when discussing evolution with a particularly devout religious person who disbelieves evolution because of their faith is the argument of irreducible complexity. Well said. The "if x is imperfect then y must be the case" is a very lazy argument.

I find it politics a fair bit as well. Especially, I regret to say, socialist politics.
