Does anyone happen to have the dvd set of Star Trek: The Next Generation or know someone who does and is willing to lend it out for a couple days so I can copy it? I'd be happy to reimburse whomever $20 or so since the dvd set costs $350ish.

Damn Star Treck copyright owners not letting movie rental places rent out star trek series... LAME!

I would like to say for the record that I have never, ever dated a trekie!!!!! Never. Ever. The ocassional DDR player yes, or even the video game addict, but bever a trekie.

yes, friends = star trek, but now ive moved on to higher mountains: The L Word. GO get it.

I've been thinking about gettinf DS9. If I do, you'd be welcome to copy that if you want. I know someone whoe has TNG, but I know her through someone and don't know how willing she would be to loan it out to a friend of a friend of a friend. I'll ask her the next time I see her though.

I never saw too many DS9 episodes, they were always on right after Voyager during high school and I almost always ended up going to bed right after Voyager. I always liked the few episodes I saw of DS9 so if you do end up getting the series I'd be down for copying them.
Thanks for offering to ask her, if it helps at all feel free to tell her I'd be willing to give her my info and pay for any damages I might cause. I'd also be willing to make extra copies for you if you wanted. But I understand the whole friend of a friend bit so no worries if it looks like a no go.
