So for the reviews... let starts with a rating system :)
hum... I'm not really good with rating system, but I'm thinking it's a need right? So I've decided it would be on 5 - where 1 is very bad and 5 is excellent:
1- very bad --> so bad I didn't finish it
2- bad --> I'll probably never re-read/re-watch it
3- okay --> it's readable/watchable and entertaining, but nothing spectacular
4- good --> I like it :) and I'll certainly re-read/re-watch it
5- excellent --> among my favorite and I've already
re-read/re-watched it many times and it's now part of my collection, so
I'll keep it for the rest of my life and I wouldn't mind to have a
double to keep in good condition.
now, my genre...
manga - I read about everything: shoujo, shonen, yaoi - contemporary,
sci-fi, alternative worlds, etc. The only thing I've probably never
read and will never read are hentai and yuri... yep, no interest in
those ^^;
books - I'm huge on romance and cozy mystery :D I do read some
sci-fi and thrillers... I mostly read female authors and well my bad,
but I have difficulty reading male authors... I just don't like it.
Also, I'm not too big on block-buster books (eg: Harry Potter, The
DaVinci Code)... I'm sure they are good, but I don't know... I don't
feel like reading them or give it a try...
TVB series - I watch almost everything... but I usually try to avoid the shangai period... not my favorite era...
anime - well once again, about everything except yuri and hentai... and
lately, I've staying clear from the harem series too ( one guy
surrounded by so many girls...)
Some few authors that I just adored, but probably won't review because they have lots of books and I'm too lazy to review:
Jennifer Crusie - she's hilarious ;) very good books, I really luv them
all... anyone who wants to sell "Cinderella Man," pls contact me
Janet Evanovich - I like the first 7 books of the Plum series... but the later books... I've think she's losing the focus
Kay Hooper - her books are about psychics... EXCELLENT, I just love them and her theories are believable!
Linda Howard - I like her books... not all of them, but lots of them
Sherrilyn Kenyon - I adore her books... her fans call her AG: Author Goddess and I think she deserves it
Nora Roberts - I've been slowing down lately on her books, because
unfortunately, they're all the same... but still, she's the Queen of
Romance
Katherine Stone - old school, but very good books ;) Moon Pearl is my favorite
