I think this is the scene the Doctor accepts Rose’s feelings for him and how he welcomes everything she wants to give him. It’s perfect.

Exactly!! All season long it's like he's coming to this incredibly slow realization about his feelings for her - this scene sums that up perfectly!

I don't think the Doctor is realizing about his feelings for her on S02. I think he already knows how much he loves her in the end of The Parting of the Ways; I think since Dalek he knows he fell in love with her (his face when the Dalek screams at him about not saving the woman he loves). I think he didn't realize she felt the same way about him. His feelings he knows since season 01. My head!canon is like this: The Doctor fell in love first and he knows it, while Rose just realized she was in love in the end of S01.
