Well, it's Official now. I despise "California Girls" by The Beach Boys.
You're probably wondering what happened over Thanksgiveng, or at least the relevance of the previous statement, so here's an (abriged) retelling of what happened.
On Tuesday night, we left for our grandparents, and got there about midnight. Wednesday morning, we went to Disneyland for the whole day. We had recently got 2-park annual passes, so we decided to visit the adjacent park, "California Adventure" sometime in the early afternoon. It had some good stuff, but, frankly, I wasn't impressed. There were a couple good rides, but the waits were horrendous. Furthermore, there was perpetual MIDI-quality California-related oldies playing in the background, with "California Girls" as every other song. There wasn't much else of note on Wednesday, though.
Thursday started off rather slow, but it quickly picked up speed. We had "Dinner" around 3:00, and spent the rest of the day socializing with family. The only two major points relevant to Thursday were a) We had about 80 lbs of Turkey and b) Settlers of Catan is more fun if you bump the winning score up to 15 pts.
Friday was the usual post-holiday cleanup, and we planned on leaving Friday night. It had rained, though, and Grandma ended up slipping and hurt her ankle. She's going to be alright, though. We spent most of Friday waiting. Eventually, we figured out that yes, we were leaving Friday night, and we got our stuff together and came home. We went to sleep, woke up, I got online, and posted this.
