But wait a minute...even though we have kids I do sometimes obsess about Raven's sulking while I am on travel, heh. So maybe you'd just have MORE to obsess about and spend money on.

Kids are great, give you a happiness nothing else in the world can but if you and your husband still have lots of fun together and have pñending issues to do as a couple for example travel or such the better is to do it now.
The dog will miss you like hell yes, but when you come back he'll move his tail and you'll see him so happy, instead of Gah you're back that means no more free internet and parties.
