Magnifying mirrors are THE DEVIL.

I have always been comforted by the thought that my husband is the geek in our coupledom. And my sister was the geek in our family (she actually asked her optometrist to put tape on her new glasses). I'm going to Puerto Rico next week to teach the vagaries of a specific application and how it works in our current system to a group of people who don't all necessarily speak fluent English (do I speak fluent Spanish, you ask?  I know only one word: cervesa), at a site that is infamous within our group for not being great to work with.

Yogurt + strawberries + blueberries + granola + raisins + honey = DELICIOUS. 

For a person whose lifestyle is best described as "inert", I had quite the active weekend.

On Saturday I drove down to Sal's house for a visit.  VB was sick, so he and his girlfriend couldn't make it (boo!), and that was disappointing.  On the bright side, though, it meant more cupcakes for the rest of us (woo!).
