yes, poor little David. But he's getting there. Making new friends always sucks. I never really got the hang of it either. But it's good that he tries. :-)

Aaah, coffee and Desperados. Perfect. This -- was a shame, but Elaine knew that people often went out of their way to help kids like that, while other needy little ones with buck teeth, or weight problems, or crappy attitudes went on wanting -- is so true.
