Not only am I grossly behind with my updates to this story, my stupid laptop fried 2 weeks ago. I'm just up and running again last week. Lost most of my new, unfinished stuff. I did have what I'd been working on up to November on a flash drive, so at least I do have the bones of the stuff I'd been piddling with

Jesus! I do feel sorry for you and I hope you will be healthy again soon. Gosh that sounds not funny. I guess the ER's are all the same around the world in the industrie nations.

The ER was a wild ride. I kept thinking that if they gave me nitro, and I didn't need it, would something bad happen? If I bit down on it accidentally, would my teeth explode? What if I tripped and fell? (just kidding)

Wow! There is no way I could plead for updates after that story of woe! I am very sorry about all your problems (and the lost of your new stories... tries not to cry...sniff...) and hope things get better soon. Your hospital sounds like the one in my town. Anyone with a ounce of self preservation tries to get transferred somewhere else! I'm going through some fairly serious health problems myself and I can identify with your pain and frustration.

I've heard some people refer to my local hospital as "MRSA General..."

I'm happy to say that I'm fully recovered. Now I'm fully aware of the stories I'd started and lost. waaaah!

Poor you, that sounds awful! Hope you are completely well again now *keeps fingers crossed* And yeah, tell me about hospital beds (my back starts to hurt just thinking back of them) and hospital food... being home is SO much better!!

Thanks - I've been spoiled by the whole tray table thing. I wish I had one over my bed. Did find a nice tray table laptop desk at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. Now I just need a bed that raises the head and knees...
